The Canada Cup of Ice Carving at the 2019 Boardwalk Ice on Whyte celebrates the best international ice carving artists from around the world including a team of artists from China as they vie for this prestigious trophy at 1 of only 3 International Ice Carving Competitions in Canada.
Ice carving is big in northern China such as the Harbin Ice Festival. Harbin is our sister city.
Enjoy the intricate details of these breath-taking ice carvings and vote for your favourite. Step into the ice bar and savour a locally distilled spirit or enjoy a locally crafted beer. Fancy yourself as an ice carver, and try your hand at an ice carving lesson in a L’il or Big Chipper Ice Carving Class.
