MidAutumn Festival is just around the corner! Celebrate MidAutumn Festival at Kinistinâw Park in Heritage Chinatown with all your friends and family (**new venue this year**)!
Come for a memorable afternoon of mooncake, martial arts, riddles, lantern making and much more organized by the Chinese Benevolent Association and the Chinese Community! Join us for the Edmonton tradition of admiring Wishing Boats glowing in the night and see how your very own boat will be part of the grand display!
Remember to join the Lion Dragon Lantern Parade in the evening. All proceeds towards the Wishing Boats will go to the Edmonton Food Bank, so bring your non-perishable food items to donate to the great cause!
Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional harvest festival that revolves around the gathering of family and friends, giving thanks to the harvest, and wishing for longevity, good fortune, and happiness. It is often celebrated with mooncake, lanterns, and family & friend reunions.
